During our romantic escape, we enjoyed the beautiful views of the river and the peaceful surroundings. the location was ideal for exploring the nearby castles in the Loire Valley, and having a car was a must. We also appreciated the delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options, including fresh fruits and vegetables, different types of cheese and meat, and homemade jams.
The hotel lacked some essential amenities that we expected for a romantic getaway. the room we stayed in was not as charming as we had hoped, and the bed was not very comfortable.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Manoir La Rumillette in Saint-Michel-sur-Loire, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. the highlight of my stay was definitely the swimming pool. After a long day of work, being able to relax and unwind by taking a refreshing swim was just what I needed. The pool area was well-maintained and provided a tranquil atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to recharge. Additionally, the hotel's charming ambiance added an extra touch of elegance to my business trip. The beautiful surroundings and picturesque views created a serene environment that made my stay truly memorable.
Now, in terms of the cons, I did notice that the bathroom in my room was a little small.

We immediately felt at home here and very much hope to return. The wonderful garden and beautiful view of the Loire were fabulous additions to the house which is full of character and very comfortable. The fresh, local eggs, excellent croissants and homemade jams were a real treat. We loved the relaxed ambience of this place. The location is off the beaten road but in the proximity of major Loire Valley castles. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a swimming pool that was clean and well-kept. Transportation was convenient as we had a car. The hotel is situated in a rural area, surrounded by green and quiet surroundings. We received some "visits" from the deer in the forest nearby. The breakfast was excellent with a great diversity of products, including fresh vegetables and fruits, different types of cheese and meat, and home made jams. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
There was nothing we didn't like.
